Air Canada Flight Change and cancellations

Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or Air Canada Express (flights operated by Jazz, Air Georgian and Sky Regional) allows 1 carry on and 1 personal item such as diaper bag,camera bag, laptop, purse or similar small item.

Unaccompanied Minor
Unaccompanied Minor service is provided to the children travelling alone to ensure their safety and comfort at the airport and during the flights.  It is advised to book ticket of your child travelling alone over the phone with an agent who will advise you of the guidelines to ensure the safety of your child
•    Children under 8years : the UMNR service is not available for children under 8 years and they need to be accompanied with a passenger age 16 years or older . A child under 8 years cannot travel alone under any circumstances. 
•    Children between 8-11 years: the service is mandatory
•    Children between 12-17 years: the UMNR service is optional.
Unaccompanied Minor service is only provided to children travelling on nonstop flights  operated by  Air Canada or Air Canada Rouge, Jazz, Sky Regional, Air Georgian GX - Flight series 7350-7499, or Exploits Valley Air 8K - Flight series 7615-7649). the service is not provided to children travelling on connecting flights and code share flights.

Pet travel
In Cabin:

Schedule Change
If there is a delay or cancellation due to severe weather conditions, you will be notified about the same . in most cases when the change is minor the airlines re schedule you on the best alternate available  and provides you a flexibility to choopse another flight to your destination without any charges or cancel the remaining flights altogether. 
Flights changes are subject to availability
If you wish to cancel the retained value will be kept as a credit and can be used for a future travel within an year. 
In case, the passenger has boarded the plane and the delay is more than 60 minutes, the airlines will provide refreshments and beverages
If the delay exceeds 90 minutes the passengers will be given an option of disembarking from the aircraft till its time to board again. 
If the flight is cancelled , the airlines will try their best to rebook you on the next available  Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or Air Canada Express flight or on a different airline with which Air Canada has a transportation agreement. 
In some cases, you may be provided with meal and hotel accommodation if the flight you are rebooked on does not depart until the next day.
In case there is no option available or if you wish to cancel, you can either ask for a credit for future use or opt to get a refund.
